Vintage 1990s Rosenthal x Versace 'Medusa Red' Porcelain Mini Vase (10cm)
An iconic emblem of late-twentieth-century luxury, blending mythic power with bold Milanese fashion history.
Archival Rarity: Vintage 1990s Rosenthal x Versace 'Medusa Red' Porcelain Mini Vase (10cm)
Hand-selected for its remarkable narrative and striking presence, this exquisite mini porcelain vase originates from the highly celebrated "Rosenthal meets Versace” originally launched in 1993 under the direct creative vision of Gianni Versace.
Standing as a compact monument to glamorous opulence, the vase is wrapped in a rich oxblood and crimson red glaze, serves as a backdrop for the gilded, central Medusa crest on either side. Intricate, neo-classical gold filigree and baroque borders line both the flared rim and base, punctuated by sharp black trims that frame the medallion beautifully.
Though petite in stature, its flared shape and high-contrast styling ensure it commands attention. It makes a magnificent, characterful statement when styled as an elegant spill vase on a writing desk, clustered alongside antique brass candelabras, or placed on a vanity tray to ground a room with a hint of everyday glamour.
